My favorite showing gift happens to be a destresser
One of my favorite things to do for my clients is create custom arrangements for showings. As a bonus, the meticulous-but-creative process helps me destress before “showtime.”
Each arrangement is tailored to the home. Some are small posey-like arrangements that get tucked in strategic places. Others are bombastic pieces that sit in the middle of tables or islands.
For a mid-century rancher, I had wildflowers in mason jars and old milk bottles. For a West End, 55+ condo, I had roses in a traditional vase near the kitchen sink. You get the drift.
For my latest listing, which was a gorgeous, renovated West End colonial, I went all out. The eat-in kitchen was extremely spacious, so something dramatic would work perfectly. The color scheme is soft, so I decided to make it pop with yellow and purple. And to make it extra special, I added greenery from my yard. Acuba, pampas grass, and even nandina found its way into this piece. It made me happy!
Thank you Vogue Flowers for supplying the perfect elements for this final finishing touch. And on another note, these pictures make me realize that the older I get, the most I resemble my mom. {Lucky me!}
